Hi, I’m Heidi, your Finnish insider. I’ve been obsessed with stories since before I went to school. My love of storytelling has carried me through countless pages of books, inspired my creative writing, and even led me to co-write a comic strip that was ultimately made into an indie film (yes, I acted in it too).

To me, a good story is the shortest distance between a brand and a customer. Stories possess a great power to connect people.

But I’m not just a storyteller. I’m an MBA-qualified strategist who understands the messy reality of the bottom line. I started my career in export and sales for major Finnish furniture manufacturers before diving into the deep end as an entrepreneur in two different industries. Eventually, my adventurous heart urged me to buy a one-way ticket to the Balkans, where I spent four years and ended up running my own communications agency there.

Through collaborations with global leaders like Philips, Bestseller, and Huawei, I’ve navigated the complexities of international B2B and B2C trade from every angle. I’ve been the foreign entrepreneur in a strange market, so I know exactly what it takes to build credibility where you aren’t a native.

Now, I use my native Finn-stinct and strategic brain to help international brands and experts succeed in the Finnish market. I prioritize lean processes and straightforward operations. Your time and resources are valuable (and so are mine).
